The good multicoloring adds a fair bit, as well as the fact that it's a Howard case. I'd eyeball the case at around 25-30dwt(stripped) of 14K, but it's hard to say certainly without actually having it in hand and especially without weighing it. We can't directly give values, but even with Howards the value is heavily dependent on gold value(it sort of sets a 'base' value'). I'd strongly suspect that the case is gold, but I'd like to see the case markings up close to see with certainty. I'm far from an expert on these, though(and a mid-grade Howard is nothing to turn up your nose at) Overall, it's a superb watch. The movement has raised gold jewel settings but is not marked 'adjusted' which I think would make it a mid-grade Howard. The excellent condition multicolor really adds to this watch. The case looks like an original case made for a Howard, which goes a long way with these. The back looks like plated, there is something silverish coming through at the 9 o'clock position (calculated from the crown). I know, these images are difficult to make, and with the condition it is in, you will have lots of reflections.
It would be good to have images from the INSIDE of the inner and outer lid with all the markings clearly visible (in addition to the descriptions you already gave). The backside looks nice, could have jewels on/in there, not clear from the picture. I don't know if the crystal has been replaced, can't tell from the picture if it's acrylic or glass. A few scratches on the case where the innen lid has been opened, but that's a more usual thing you see on pocket watches. The crown looks like right-from-the-factory. Goose-neck fine adjustment (the ones preferring Oxford English would call it 'whiplash precision index adjuster').
